Purpose and Reason:

The Medicaid rules are amended to reflect an increase in the cap on the Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance from $2,898.00 to $2,931.00 per month. Other technical revisions to the rule include changing references from Medical Assistance to Medicaid and changing references from Long-Term Care (LTC) to Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS).

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

To avoid wrongful denial or discontinuance of benefits for applicants/beneficiaries.
